 FAQs

  • Sound therapy (healing) is a practice in which sound is used with intention to evoke a state of relaxation and natural repair. Specific frequencies have the ability to tune your entire human system like an instrument and create the conditions necessary for your body to heal itself. It is one of the oldest medicines known to humankind and is extremely effective when delivered properly.

  • Also known as a sound bath meditation or simply a sound bath, a group session is a relaxing performance with unique and powerful instruments, led by a trained facilitator. The session will include some gentle breathing techniques and mindfulness exercises. Participants may sit in an upright meditative posture or lie down however they are comfortable.

  • Your level of engagement is up to you. Instructions are given for gentle participation via meditation, but this is not necessary for you to experience the benefits. Your presence and an open mind are the only prerequisites. Comfortable clothing is recommended, along with a any meditation cushion, blankets, or pillows needed. A water bottle is also a good idea.

  • Absolutely, yes - it’s completely normal and usually means one thing: your body is tired! Yet, if you repeatedly find yourself falling asleep during your sessions, it may be your body’s way of telling you that your current sleep cycle needs adjustment. This is positive and healthy information.

  • No. This practice is suitable for beginners and expert meditators alike. An open mind, free of expectation, is all that is necessary.
